New 24 foot tank...need stocking advice

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Now I had a suggestion of my own. We should have gone to altum angelfish and discus.:D With a shoal of hundreds of diamond tetras. But then monsters are 'in' when it comes to MFK.:D

I like regional tanks, they just interest me more, but with many fish the origonal source does not matter, it is mainly a matter of taste. Balas and redhooks, for example make a nice mix.

So now the xmas and new year festivities are well and truly over, have you settled on a stocklist yet? This tank is really unique and I, like many others, can't wait to see how it's going to turn out once you have it up and running.....

1. Whale Shark

2. Sperm Whale

3. Mermaids

(This thread is old enough for non-serious answers, right?)

The walls have been built around the tank and will be painted in the few days. I will post pix. I've decided to add fish slowly. Put in big driftwood pieces and nice rock formations and add monsters as local people make them available is the plan for now.

Wow I cannot wait to see the pictures. I would deffinatly just add like a couple biggens(to cycle/make sure it stays cycled) then make sure people know you are accepting monsters.

The pics are blurry. There is a wall going in above and below the tank. Pics 2 and 3 are the right half and the left half from the front.

whats ur job? U built a cubical out of an aquarium

It isn't a cubicle. There is now a wall above and below the tank making the tank part of the wall that separates my office from the reception area. I run a software company.
