k im getting a new 25 gallon from a friend. but the problem it comes with a fish. what kind of fish can be kept with a blood parrot?

I absolutely agree. It is downright irresponsible to suggest throwing the fish to the toilet. Fish do not deserve this treatment. If you do not want the fish, just sell or give it away to a more responsible hobbyist.

Mick, the 25g is too small for a blood parrot. If I were you, please give it away to another member of MFK and get better substitutes. Which fish in particular do you want?

Keep in mind, its was his friend that had it in the 25, not him.

Just give away the fish, I'm sure you can find a good home for him.

But it is a nasty hybrid and is most likely a dyed fish..
