Go with some dwarf pike. I got 3 for my 29 gallon; crenicichla regani. They have fun "in your face" personalities and only reach 5-6 inches.
The tank is too small for the parrot why not trade it in at an LFS and get some new fish or equipment? Id personally set that up for some nice tetra and cats, e.g. some scissor tail rasbora or Rummynoses with a few nice corys like Sterbai or Adolfi.
yah i wil give it to my dad who has a 200 and im not sure what i will put in there yet keep giving ideas pls
I agree with Lupe, I keep some and my largest was only 5"...
What scissortais do do however, is get bullied by bossy fish and they also can die for little reason

Ive read mixed opinions on scissortails..Some say that they grow pretty large (18cm) others say like 4''...:/
