If you don't put a euro brace on that tank then you should at least put a center brace in the middle. I don't think the walls can handle all that water weight without a brace. Just my 2 cents....

I would take off that metal band around the top, it'll surely rust. I would replace it with a couple (maybe three) of 1/2" thick euro braces. quote]

Glass braces at the top of the tank. I'd put two spaced evenly or even three, one at each end and one in the middle. A 30" tall tank will bow like crazy without them.
