You could also sandblast the metal frame and re-paint it but I would replace that strange looking center brace.
It also looks like the tank was re-sealed. Have you fill tested it yet?

Yeah, they did use a lot of silicone. Luckily I do this stuff every day b/c I do tile so I regrout and recaulk bathrooms all the time.
