You could also sandblast the metal frame and re-paint it but I would replace that strange looking center brace.

It also looks like the tank was re-sealed. Have you fill tested it yet?

No, but the guy said it had a leak somewhere near the top so I'm gonna reseal it just to be safe. Don't want 300 gallons all over my floor,

I don't know what I'm putting in it yet besides my Florida gar and my belly crawler pike cichlid.

I believe he was going to reseal the tank. Looks like they used alot of silicone on the bottom you definately got some work cut out for you. But I envy a good project like that you get to reseal and build your stand. Sounds like fun.

Yeah, they did use a lot of silicone. Luckily I do this stuff every day b/c I do tile so I regrout and recaulk bathrooms all the time. Just like work for me,
