the MOST i've heard of anybody doing a tank was 15X

if it's the only powerhead i think it would be fine.. it would dissapate rather quickly as the only flow in the tank (minus the filter)

25x is correct. The more turnover the better. SPS need the highest amount of turnover because of there feeding. Most SPS like very high water flow. id do a koralia 2 or 3. If you have the 3 its fine, but your tank is tall and not very deep, front to back, so id say it may be too much. But a two will work very well.
