new 310 gal tank

your tank looks good! any idea what kind of fish your gonna put in it? i wanna make one big sump for both tanks. i have one big 2400 gph pump that will run both tanks. trying to cut down on electricity as well. im just trying to decide wether to buy a sump or make one. i made the one for my salt tank but not sure if its worth buying another tank and all the acrylic and stuff to make one or if its just worth buying one. for a sump that can handle the 310 gal its almost $400. and if building ones only gonna save me $100 its not worth the hassle. whats your thoughts? what do you run for filters? i have a fx5 and 2 emperor 400s 0n my 135 at the moment but honestly im not a fan at all with the performance of the fx5.

Yea! I have two 24" Pacu and a couple 15" ones, a 19" p. Niger cat, maybe throw one Red devil and a Pleco, thats it! Don't want to overload it. Oh yea, why don't you just hit craigslist for an old glass tank for a sump? I mostly run Ac110's on my tanks, my 380gal. has a bioball wet dry, my plans for the 388gal. is a 100gal. rubbermaid hooked to a amp saver pump, I bought off a saltwater guy, about 2900gal./hr. I'll put media and plants in it and something as prefilter. Post me up some pics when you get that sucker filled! Gonna get working on mine after the 16th of July.
