New 450g Tenecor

Very nice set up. I have a 450g getting delivered next saturday for me as well. It was a long wait too, almost 1 month wait for the tank. May I ask what air pump you are using for aeration?

My teneocor system was delayed by a month....so took almost 3 months so 1 month isn't bad!

I've got a couple Penn Plax Battery Back-Up Air Pumps from Big Als....great pumps and battery back up!...mind you I haven't put any D cell batteries yet! LOL...hope I can find D cells when there is a black out!.....damn...better pick some up tomorrow...lol

Ya 1 month wasn't too bad but mine was just the tank with no sump. No holes drilled here. Anyhow thanks, I'll look up on those airpumps, last time I checked out BigAls in Calgary they didn't have much options left since boxing day. Most airpumps were sold out.

yeah...forget about getting it instore...I've been to just about every BA in Ontario and never seen this stock...just order it online..it arrives in less then a week....

well...the new setup is to say the a bit loud!...I'll be putting the silencer on the overflow's and also put on pink rigid insulations on most of the walls of the cabinets but still hear the pumps ....what other methods have you guys used to keep the noise at a lower level?
