would rather just buy the acrylic and put it together to save a lil money.
How do you find the square foot of something?
and most places around here charge 30$ a square foot.
How much would u exspect it to cost for the sheets of acrylic?
We save some money by doing it ourselfs, rather than paying for labor.
You must have been studying for the FCAT instead of math...Lenght x Width
Could be a great project for the you two...if you do alot of planning and have the right tools...like bar clamps, lots of bar clamps (rental?) Clean work area that you can leave stuff there for a week.
The price of material varies by location, it a retailer is closer to it's supplier they usually price it out cheaper. Get estimates from more than one place too.
Have you considered glass? I know it's heavier but you may be able to get some from a surplus dealer (does demolition and keeps the good stuff) for a really good price. If you do, use GE1200 silicone.
If you and your Dad don't argue now...wait till your done with this project...
Good luck and take alot of pix..Hey - maybe a webcam...Huh..Huh?
