Not every MFKer either. I love my moster fish, but I have had better success keeping water quality in check with a heavily planted tank and a couple good canisters. Rather than one big W/D. Those that choose to go exclusively monster fish, with no plants should use w/d filters though.

I have a friend who was built them in the past whos gona help so i will sleep easy .

also the guy gave us all acylic sheets (the top has no opening) so im gona cut out the 3 peices and make my wet/dry media holder out of them lol.

#1 he is using acrylic there is no silicone
#2 those that can't don't , those that can build it themselves, save alot of money
