Great stuff. Are ypu gonna keep the oscar in that forever or upside / trade him for other fish?

I'll be keeping him. I am going to upsize on this tank when I can but he will be fine in there until I have an opportunity to do so, I actually just got him back in there and him and the Angels are so happy they have been swimming all over the place, although my tank is still foggy from the PH powder I'll throw some clarifier in there tomorrow if it doesn't clear up by then and take some pics when It does.

I would re home that Oscar now before you get attached to it.It will out grow that tank in no time.
Oscars are active intelligent fish that need a 6x2x2 in my opinion.
It's no use saying, this was the only tank I could afford so I will buy an Oscar anyway. The answer here is choose a suitable species for the only tank you can afford.

Lol a single Oscar doesn't even require a 6 foot tank tho. If I had more than one then clearly a 6 foot would be needed. Don't take this as I won't be getting one eventually, But TBH this tank is sufficient enough to house him until I can upgrade. I've had him for months and he is just 4.5 inches. If people can run a solo Oscar in a 55g I can get away with growing him in a 65 just saying

People Unliking my posts now lol. i guess cause I don't have a 6 foot tank I shouldn't be posting here.
Nothing wrong in posting here.
I just think choosing an Oscar for a three foot tank shows lack of research on the fish you buy.
Probably the most common mistake in the hobby

A solo oscar in a 55 is like keeping a danio in a 10cm tank. Also their waste output is enormous. With proper food, housing and waterchanges they can grow an inch a month. The fish will get stunted and have issues in an insufficient tank

For the benefit of the fish rehouse it or get a bigger tank

A 12 inch plus fish in a 55 is just plain cruel.
Sure you can keep a solo Oscar alive in a 55 but It don't make it right.

That's your opinion,in mine it does.

I could be misinterpreting you but again I don't plan on keeping him in this tank forever and I feel as if that's what you are assuming.
