Loaches, barbs, danios and rasboras. You could try gulper cats but their big mouths will limit your options for other tankmates.

This would be a great option minus the gulper. Throw in some live plants and have a nice community tank.

what are people keeping for tankmates with gulpers? just anything WAY bigger?
Main issue is they can swallow fish that are even twice as bigger so they really limit the options. I've seen a few cases of arowanas ending up in the stomach of the little cat but arowanas are rather slender in shape.

Here's one. Read and weep.:WHOA:

I never meant to say gulpers can be added with the other fish I mentioned.:D

Sorry I wasn't trying to be rude. My apologizes. I was just trying to agree that gulpers will eat anything that doesn't eat them first.

wow thats crazy....haha i wouldnt mind a gulper then....im not too too keen on community tanks of that sort....is there any other communitys i could do with bigger fish or maybe like a cichlid tank of some sort(not african).
