No driftwood. I used to have a massive peice in my old tank. Just turned the water a tea colour, couldn't get rid of it. So this time round no drift wood at all. Even though I love the look of it.
Yeah, tha 1st rock has a really good shape to it.
Next on the list is to get it up to temp.
That should be done in the next couple of days, then add some fish next weekend to get the cycle started, while i'm down at the lfs I'll most likely grab those plants I mentioned to fill out the fore ground.
In the mean time I'll make a start on some of the cupboards.

Looking good dude, now I can appreciate the SIZE of this monster! I agree with you that driftwood can be tricky, I always seem to get some water staining from mine, comes and goes with the water changes, doesn't bother the fish (in fact, I think south american fish prefer it...), but is a pain in the @ss when you want that crystal clear look, which I'm sure your going for...
