I can't the door is done and I have got to pay off debts and can't afford to pay for a new door at the momment. I hear you though go as big as possible with the tanks.

I think we're forgetting something... The tank can be up to about 6 feet wide, it just can't be taller than 35". You can have as wide a tank you want, you will just have to get the tank through the door sideways. Can't believe nobody has mentioned this already.

Now your options are almost infinite. ;)

(Yay 2k posts, haha)

I had only one major problem that is best solved with a tall tank (I'm a fan of extra width for arowanas to turn around). However, with Arowanas when they are in a tank that is 36 inches tall or more the have got an entire water column to themselves. Anything shorter than 30 inches tall they share the water column with other fish and can become quite congested and want to stay away from that, a leason I learned from my 250, especially with jumbo catfish in the tank . Either way it is either going to be 35 inches tall or 35 inches wide.

I have a 44" deep tank and it sucks to maintain. It's very hard to do anything to the bottom. They look nice, don't get me wrong. Over all, if I could do it again, I would go with wider over deeper. #1 easier to maintain makes me a happier fish keeper and bonus a wider tank is better for the fish IMO.

Your the boss with the ballin fish room, do what makes you happy!

Keep the comments coming I'm listening. The 360 that is 36 inches tall is probably the deepest to easily be maintained as you said 42 inches is tough to maintain

The dry wall is done!!

go with the 650 because if you dont youll always kick your self saying way didnt i go bigger

I would go with the 450. With the plans on an upgrade. If you go 650 you will need to go much larger to satisfy the fish tank hunger.:)
