haha saltwater cheap??? is there such a thing? i was setting up a new light on my 150G, that certainly wasnt cheap!!!! I'm sending emails to online stores, I get a lot of activity. but its always hard to get people to post auctions and post auctions on sites that are different than what they are acustom to. i know a wholesaler in PA, i'll send him a fax tonight and see what i can get for fish to post on there...

ya sure, the wholesaler is Seven Star Tropicals. They don't have a website, but you can find them on google. I called them yesterday, they plan to have more saltwater in 2 weeks. The prices last I knew were half decent, not the typical over priced BS with hidden charges.

haha that would be a good question! I just started the site a week ago (as of today,sunday) Its the #1 site because thats what I felt like naming it at the time. I've been emailing sellers and places to advertise, but its hard to break the ice on a new site. A lot of people sell on ebay, and its hard to get them to sell on other sites.

Very true. Getting enough sellers and buyers to start using the site is going to be the biggest challenge in getting the site off the ground.

A good idea would be to put some of your own product on there, it will be more appealing to buyers if they go on there and actually see some product on the site. Most people are not going to want to be the first to put there products on a site that doesn't appear to have any product to move. Just something you might want to think about.

i would buy some advertising on facebook, i haven't done it in a while but they didn't used to charge you until someone actually clicked on your link. And you can choose demographics to target. You can probably even target people in the hobby. It proved very effective for selling houses back in the day
