Thanks Addikted! I put some stuff I had laying around. I put an ad in facebook and google, and next week I'll be putting an ad in fishchannel.com it will be in the Marine & Reef magazine and on the website. My goal is to get a whole ton of products on there, and have it be "the go to site" if your looking for anything. I noticed no one else has a site like this. I was really happy to make it, now advertising is a whole new challenge!! I just started a twitter and facebook account too. I was thinking emailing a whole bunch of people on craigslist. There always seems to be people selling coral on there.

You just gotta get out and push it. Start accounts on every forum too. Troll the threads, and when you think you can get someone a deal, let them know about it. They will be more likely to check your site.
You might also want to consider taking a hit on a few things.
Get some crappy frags up and sell them for NOTHING, then some people might keep looking for stuff like that, or spread the word on the free frags they had gotten.

you know, I was thinking about that. I sold freshwater fish for years, my suppliers can get saltwater fish and corals. I was going to put a small order in and sell dirt cheap on the site. I thought I was nuts for thinking about it, but you also suggested it, so I can't be that crazy. the forums have been VERY hard to work with. MFK has been the only cool one so far. The others kicked me off or deleted the thread saying I was advertising my own site.
I might also try to spruce up your picture. It looks like something out of a dr seuss book. Facebook like dustin said has ways you can spam people that say that they are interested in aquariums.
facebook has been a disaster for me! If you make a page, and request too many people at once, they ban you for 2 days. I did it yesterday and am now banned for 4 days. I can still log in, I just can't request friends or write to anyone. I figured there has to be a way to have people spread the word, but its a lot harder than I thought.

Ya, I just finished my prop tank so I'll stock that. Worst case scenario-I'll grow corals for my own tank!! At least in the end I'll have a pretty kick ass tank stocked with some cool corals!
