Add beefhearts to the diet. Trim the fats first. Never fed it to my bichirs but I heard that the bichir's size explodes after being fed beefhearts. only feed them to babys. Not too much though.

Is that pool filter sand? Ifso, I have the same kind. And I hate it, food and poop and everything gets in it so when you move the gravel a little stuff flies, even if you do water changes a lot. I am going to switch to a smaller blCk sand, just looking for a good brand. Good luck , and nice looking del :)

It is pool filter sand, Quikrete brand. I've had a lot of people tell me I should try it over the years. I switched from big black gravel that I didn't really care for.

I have a small P. senegalus I feed frozen sm. Krill, Mysis shrimp and NLS grow .5mm pellets. I also have PFS in my tanks and love it. Everything vacumes right off the during water changes. The senegalus arn't much to look at as far as pattern goes but very cool none the less.

Fed the tank some mysis shrimp. The congo's go completely nuts during feeding. Pol has been hanging out under the stump, I saw him come out and eat a couple of pieces. I have the lights out so hopefully he'll chow down some more. I'll feed again in a few hours.

I'll try that. I'm going to feed the other 1/2 of the mysis cube here in a few minutes. Tomorrow I'll try cutting carnivore pellets up. I have some of the Omega 1 small sinking stuff on the way too.
