New baby largemouth bass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My LMB grew 10" in less than a year. Be careful what you're getting into. To put it in perspective, this fish will eat everything you throw at it. Grubs, locus, crickets, shrimp, minnow, chub, worms, any bug, goldfish, frogs, you name it. They have no fear, and are always hungry. I have a creek that supplies minnow and crayfish. He will eat 20-30 minnow in 5 minutes. 10 large goldfish. Just letting you know - this is no cichlid. :)
They'll eat anything you throw at them, except the lures I try to catch them with!

Well of course yiou can feed em rosy reds, but you can easily get them on frozen foods. A good one to start with is mosquito larva , then brine shrimp and blood worms

their kinda like dats, in the fact that their better by themselves or in threes or more. I have two but their is a dominant one that does a little chasing. nothing to bad just showing whos boss. Havent seen actual fighting or biting.

And one more thing, training for pellets is easy too especially when their that small, they love to eat and when they see the other fish eating it's not long before they join in

My bass has gotten picky. He doesnt really go for frozen any more. Instinct has taken over. He's a year and a half i guess now @ 16". He will hit a raw shrimp or two but then wants live.
