New baby peacock, can somebody help me ID?

there is no point in arguing over the ID of a fish that is almost impossible to ID at that age. you can all THEORIZE.. but someone is gonna be wrong in 2 months..
Actually there is, and there are people who can tell what a fish is at a young size because of basic characteristics. It is not an orino which is for sure. It is most likely monoculus but could have a chance of being ocellaris.

Just because you can't tell what it is, doesn't mean there aren't others who can.

do you really enjoy being a jerk? or is it that you just can't help yourself?

when i answered there were three different theories about what kind of cichla it is. my opinion.. because that is all it is right now, is that it's a mono. but, at that size it is DIFFICULT to tell for sure.

i like ALL cichla, and for the most part ALL fish. and no matter what type of cichla it is, it's going to be beautiful and get even more beautiful as it grows up. which is exactly what i said before.
