4 times a week? I feed everyday... lol

I do this for the first week or two then slow feedings considerably after they're settled. Tigs are very long-lived fish and rushing their growth can result in their demise. :(

thanks. when they are this size it is about an inch or so every week to two weeks. but once they hit about 5 to 6 inches they slow down.

quick update of my baby tigs, the biggest has grown easily about 3 more inches since I got him, and his patterns are starting to show. the other two are growing as well and one has some nice unusual markings, so my fingers are crossed that he will turn out to be an oddball. I'll try to get some non-phone pics up eventually.
enoy!

anyone know anything else to feed em besides blackworms and feeder guppies?

I'll typically feed blackworms exclusively for the first few weeks just so they get some size them. I've tried throwing shrimp and tilapia and pellets with my guys and they eat it, but nowhere near as aggressively as the worms, so that's what I'm sticking with.

im gonna give the shrimp and tilap a try. i had them going for the pellets after letting them soak in blackworms, but they would spit them out. One of them is acting like a surface feeder and will go to the top of the tank to grab freeze dried blackworms that are meant for the baby black aro I have with them.

still growing and go through about 300 feeders a week with the help of a baby black arowana.
