Thanks MAC.I'm just having a problem getting the musks to take prepared.Looks like I'll have to try worms.Eventually would like them non-dependant on live.Mad About Cichlids;1905510; said:Nice catches.
Love baby turtles
Well, I'm using massivore now, but will try the shrimp pellets. I also am going to build a filter out of a five gallon water jug most likely, just the stinkpots make the water smell "interesting". Also, why do they sit underwater with their mouths open sometimes? Is this trap hunting like a ali snapper?Vicious_Fish;1905721; said:Try shrimp pellets, they sink and my Stinkpots love them.

As far as them drowning, even the smallest one swims right up to the rocks and hangs there and breathes. And when the painted gets too big I will simply give it it's own tub.Keep in mind these are very small turtles right now.
Hey attackfish, do the musk's like to eat off the bottom? With my water flow they'd never catch the reptomin!
In the shore lilies.Seined them out!You have to sift through the net good though because they look like acorns!ceeej31;1908985; said:cool turtles, what kind of area were they in?
