The musk's haven't eaten since I've gotten them.Although one of them just ate some market shrimp, the other ones just look at it and swim on. Hey vicious, how long do you think it will take the musk to start eating like the painteds?

I'm not sure, if they've just hatched recently they can live off their yolk sacs for a few days to a week. You could try giving them some aquatic insects or baby pond snails and chopped up earthworms. Another thing you could also try is to feed them something smelly to stimulate their appetite. Put in a few pieces of canned tuna or some cut up frozen shrimp or fish fillets. That has always worked for me. If you can't get them to eat by the end of the week it might be a good idea to release them because baby musk turtles can be very stubborn and are not always the easiest species to get to eat.

One of them ate.Everything I've offered is stinky! The yolk sacs are well and gone. They were pooping too, so I know they've eaten on their own.

so just a plain seine net will work, like the ones at bass pro shops
Yup.4x4, with two people working it!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned UVB. Painteds will bask for hours and definitely UVB lighting/unfiltered sunlight to thrive and survive.

Otherwise they look great, have fun.

Got that covered.I put the 2 painteds outside to bask in another tote. They are real friendly, they know when they see me it's either eating time or sun time!
