First I would just wait for its shed. But if I have to intervene I've done something similar that I think should work on eye caps as well. I use Zoo med's Repti Shedding Aid. What I do is shake the bottle and spread all over its face, eyes, and body, then I put it in a container cover the snake with a warm moist/wet towel. And close the container. It will move around inside the container and rub its eyes and skin against the towel and the loose skin or eye caps should come off eventually. I just leave it in the container for an hour and check it from time to time. Good luck.

Doesn't the shed aid say to avoid eyes and mouth? Also, I don't want to do that with all the open wounds she has on her at the moment.

Poor girl. Beautiful snake! hope she heals up well

Thanks :) I'm sure she'll be fine. Right now there is no interest in food whatsoever but I don't blame her, hoping she'll give it a shot after she sheds.

Just a quick update on her. She is doing quite a bit better. She shed this morning, I had to help her once it got to the large wound on her side. The black from under her mouth is all gone now, as are the eyecaps. Now all we have are a few scrapes and cuts to heal up but they are looking good, no signs of infection or anything, just new healthy tissue.

Glad to hear it! Major kudos to you for helping this poor creature out. After a few shed she will look like a totally different snake. As for whoever threw her out of the car window...don't worry...karma has a way of taking care of people like that.

How about some updated pics since she shed? I would love to see the progress she is making.
