that is true, but in reality ron would probly only top out at about 10" since hes been grown in an aquarium since 1.5", so not too much of a beast after all that waiting...lol
im hoping this one will top out at around 15-16" after a few more years
 
that probably won't happen either, he might hit 10-12" after a few years tho

Ah sorry to burst your bubble but that is pry not going to happen. Even if it would ever reach 16 inches, which would be a monster, it would take a lot of years. I would say atleast 6.
 
well summer this year he will be moving into a 5ftx2ftx2ft tank with twin power heads, twin filters and plenty of worm medication.
hopefully i can get him to 15-16" in 4-5 years.
and my tanks always have excellent water parameters, the water comes out the tap here at the perfect PH for cichlids and piranha

Yeah well hope for the best but dont expect it to happen. I dont want you to be dissapointed like you were with the growth of your first rhom. But good luck that rhom looks pretty B.A. either way.
 
if you get 8 inches of growth on an 8 inch rhom in 4 or 5 years, you deserve some type of an award, it's highly unlikely...
