Yes, and it's just a pain in the ass to clean. Scraped my knuckles up rinsing that stuff in a five gallon bucket.
Gotta wonder, if it can cut my hands just by rubbing it in between them, what is it doing to fish? Especially the eartheaters you have now fishmamma...
Well what??
I was actually enjoying some Hot Cheetos when I read this, felt so compeld to show you guys how soft it really is.. although you can't see the softness .. it really is.. the earth eaters constantly sift through it.. that must mean something...
and as far as cleaning it .. I did it the 'bucket' way and it was very effective... it will stain your hands, finger nails, bath tub(if you do it there) and pretty much everything else it comes in contact with.. it rinses off in about 3 days of so.. You'll freak out on how black the water gets as your rinsing it.. I did. The sand also comes with a little package of liquid that is used for collecting all the remaining particles that were not rinsed out when inicially cleaning.. it supposed to go into the tank after you've added the sand. I didn't need to use it, really I didn't want to .. cause it just freaked me out.. so cleaning it thoroughly will do the job..
This is to show you that I rubbed it a good while .. just to make sure.
So you can see the particles better...
