So after getting my tank healthy and happy I was given a pale looking black spotted BP. I'm thinking female but it is still small and I don't want to stress her with sexing her so for now she has the unisex name of Mopy. ( I'm dating my self with that name lol ) After having her for a little over a week she has taken a liking to my blind blue graumi and follows her around and chases off any fish that get to close when my graumi is eating or resting on her leaf bed. The BP has now lost the stress spots and has turned a beautiful deep orange color with bright red cheeks. She has the typical V mouth so I'm hand feeding her now due to her sucking in more air than food... I'm not sure if this is good practice lol but she is eating much easier now. I also just started her on shelled peas but should I use thawed frozen or fresh? I'm using thawed frozen right now. She will also be getting on a cichlid diet, but is there any brands you would recommend?
