I have a Canon 430EX II flash so hopefully that will do the job. I don't really know how to use it all that well yet though.

well the nice thing about modern flashes and canon is ettl2. Basically put your camera in manual mode, set your aperture to f8 or so,,,iso 400 or 800,,shutter speed to 100 or greater if handholding and fire away, if it looks a bit overexposed or underexposed then adjust you flash exposure compensation on the flash dial. also make sure the flash is set on ettl-2,,,the flash will adjust flash output automatically...have fun! awsome toys

nice glass!

I really need to get some batteries for my flash. I've been shooting at ISO 1600 without flash and its a bit too noisy. My 20D is so old. It handled noise so well back in the day, but compared to the new cameras out there, it just doesn't compare.

A couple from today (the only two I was happy with out of 50 some).
