New camera so new pics of my Midas/RD

I just got my Nikon D50 last night. So I had to take a couple shots of my midas/rd. He is only around 4.5-5" right now but growing storng. They aren't that great I'm still learning.

Thanks, I have been reading the manual today and will try more shots tonight. Does any one have any tips they could share or suggestions on a lens. I think I'm gonna order the 50mm f/1.4D lens pretty soon. I think that will work great for a general lens and should be good for aquarium pics too.
