What mode are you shooting in Jason (auto or manual)? Flash or not?

Awesome pics...like others said get a overhead flash setup. Also jk47 to get the whole fish in focus try not zooming in as much. When the little focus squares come on try to have them be as big as the fish image then it will focus on the whole fish. Then crop the image down so it big to view.

pictures look sharp.. you're not using flash? you must have a very well lit tank..

my tank is too dim and i always have to set ISO400 to shoot my fish

LOL, I posted on your thread with the Umbee for sale and though you had a new camera. Nice fish and boy does it make the color pop. I still need to cough up the cash for a good camera. I thought about when I do get one I would take a class to learn the basics.
