Do they require a basking area like almost all turts do? Or, are they more like snappers in the sense they spend almost all their time in water?

Just picked up a 3-4" Platysternon megacephalum Awesome little turtle, I used to have a rubber toy one as a kid lol. Can't find my camera to post pics at the moment, but here's the pic from the original ad. Already eating out of my fingers!

You can bring the water to about 5"-6". And I would recommend sand because of hw shy they are.

I love Platysternon! Havent worked with any that small, at what age do they loose the orange on their tummies?
