why is everyone telling this guy to stuff another potentially 10-12" midas/devil or flowerhorn if very well cared for, into a 12" wide tank?? why am i one of the few who see a problem with this besides reddevil and cichlidguy:screwy: atleast a 75g tank is needed for fish that size, and thats pushing it since they cant get much speed up while swimming. theres thousands of species of fish, and im sure we could all name just one or two that would be IDEAL for a 55g, not just barely able to turn around.

More than likely because everyones assuming he would be getting it small and it could be in a 55 for the next year or so fine.

The same way that everyone assumes that your WAY overstocked 250g (at full grown size) is all small fish

-2 Red Belly Pacu, 1 Tiger Oscar, 2 Jack Dempsey, 1 Featherfin catfish, 1 spotted Raphael, 1 Pike cichlid, 1 convict, 1 Managuense, 1 Kirin, 1 Clown Knife,1 Delhezi, 2 Senegalus, 1 Black Belt-

because thats WAY too many big fish in a 250. right?:screwy:

I've been interested in Jaguars and just started looking at Grammodes. Any advice or experience with either?

Scroll through the CA/SA section. Theres a ton of current info on them!

jags get too big for 75s and 55s. You can keep a pair of grammodes in either size tank.

Female Jag will go nicely in a 75 but may even eventually get too big. Though I am sure a Female could live her entire life in ther no Problem a male however NO. need 125 gallons for a full adult male. 16"+ the biggest I seen in person was 18" and thats when you get the 180 lol. Most males average 14-16"
