Yeah haha he hides in his PVC tunnel until I come up to the tank then he comes out and swims to the top, so much character in these fish! I said about 8 inches, he's probably more 11 inches from front to back. Hard to measure because they like slither haha.
 
beautiful Clown knife! Just read through the thread. I'm highly jealous of the fact that yours will eat out of your hand. I just finally got mine to eat something OTHER than live fish (stuffed silversides).

Congrats, and keep updating!
 
Silversides are great to getting them off live food... You can throw them in there and they kinda glide givinh the knife the impression that they are swimming... As for my footer i feed him tilapia slices, and market shrimp out of my hand. And yes i have had him bite me. If i put my hand in without food in it and wiggle my finger he will get it in his mouth but i think he realizes its not food very fast lol. But i keep mine on frozrn for now... Once i can feed larger portions iv got nls pellets to stuff the shrimp and tilapia with. Good luck uploadfromtaptalk1364350079237.jpg
