Yeah so I was right man the female was about to explode. She laid the most massive batch of eggs tonight she has even laid! I was shocked actually
it was and is the size of the huge batches my old huge jag pair would lay down
Will take some pics tomorrow night I already turned their lights off for the night
Man this sucks! The lava rock is the same exact color as the eggs, and the are almost impossible to take pics of. You can not see just how many there are at all! To give you guys an idea the female is like 6.5'' and that rock is obviously much larger. The eggs cover every single inch including the lip of the rock you see in the pic although it does not look like it in the pics. Anyhow you guys get the idea the batch is going to be huge! Even when you are right up on the tank with your eye it is hard to see them they blend in so well damn it!

Nice pair. Love the head profile on your male. My smaller female would lay around 3,000 eggs. The larger female had about 3 times as many eggs.
