Update. Filling out nicely. Eating blood worms and have caught him with a RCS in his mouth a few times. External gills are coming back too. Still no bands except for a small black spot near his tail. Super happy

Still getting thicker. Bloodworms, crushed pellets and still smacking RCS when he gets the chance. Gills have fully returned too.

I guess this is now a little grow out thread. Officially taking pellets, super happy! Omega One cichlid sinking pellets. He’s got a great yellow tone lately. My larger Del is the standard gray.

Thanks, I love them too. They’ve been an indestructible colony. Started with 10 about a year ago and have thrived even while kept with multiple grow out Bichirs
