new eel not eating what to do ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if i make it brackish will my peacock bass be ok or shoud i put him in nuther tank that is brackish
there in the same tank.

This eel needs a separate tank set up for strong brackish conditions.
It always helps to do extensive research before your decide on a new aquatic life.

Once he is truly re-adapted to more natural conditions, he will be more likely to feed normally.

best of luck

get him in full saltwater and feed RAW shrimp.
Mine didn't eat for 3 months, but now that its in full SW is over 30''

whin i got him he was a freshwater eel i've razed the Ph to 8.3 dou think this will help my eel and or hurt my peacock bass

What's the point to that? Boiling takes out all the nutrients.

Raw shrimp is best!
I wrap mine in tinfoil and boil them just to keep the flavor and nutrients in,but to kill any possible parisites.
