Its basically a intake for a wet dry filter that works like a waterfall. once you fill the tank to a certain level the water goes into the overflow, down into the filter an gets pumped back into the tank.

Thinking about getting out of cichlids and South Americans. I'd like to sell everything in a group so I can dedicate my tank to a fahaka. Current list follows:
Breeding pair of Chocolate cichlids, 3 8" Geophagus sp. (dicrozoster?), 6 silver dollars (2 maculatus, 4 argentae between 3-5") about 14-15 corydoras ( mixed green aneus, panda and metae). Chocolates have fry that you can have, largest silver dollar is scattering eggs, 2 of the Geos are pairing up and at least 2 corys are laying eggs. Asking $100 for the whole lot, I'll seperate but I'd rather do the whole thing as a group. Anybody want to buy the bunch and sell them off seperately is welcome.

very tempting, im pretty interested in the geo's and some of the corys but dont have the time to make a trip

Bob i currently ONLY have 55g and 30g...If i take those whole lots im not sure if they will be happy in there.
