I was at the bait shop the other day and they had some eels. The worker said they were for fishing in the ocean. I asked if they were in a salt water tank and she said no. Can these eels survive in a fresh water tank ?

that's for fishing not for pets...not a good ideas.

anyone want to play poker? get together once a month and play poker?

At $3 a piece they could be an inexpensive poly look aliike. I was just wondering if I would need a salt water setup, brackish setup, or would freshwater be ok
?

sticky how small are the monos? i might get one if the right size

eels are not a kind of fish that are a substitute for a poly, they are in and out of freshwater where they will breed and die, they are in saltwater before going up into streams and lakes where htey breed

not a good idea to get one, plus they get up to 4 ft, more or less a lungfish

just get a poly, senegals are dirt cheap

he got 15 in stock that is 3-5" at $40 each..
