Both the female and male are marbled, although the male isn't as nice as the female. She is in my avatar. Their first pup is starting to show marbling now. She will be a nice looking ray I think. Both parents are wild caught.

my last litter of pups are exceptional but neither parents are marble (they appear to have the potential to marble, still have all 4 females but 2 are spoken for) and the litter due both parents again are not marble. But I'd be willing to trade multiples for 1 marble

my mature motoro male has been doing my flower ray,is it normal for him to keep biting her on the back?

You'll have to remove or seperate them or he'll really scar her up, you need to get him a female larger than him.
When I removed my breeding male from the female he started biting both his male tank mates, a motoro larger than him and a mature orbignyi with claspers just as big as his. He stopped biting the motoro with in 2 days but continued to sexually harrass the orb. Not sure if it was hormonal or confusion due to different species/breed.

Hey, I just spoke to Rich (current president of BAS) since I know he keep cichlids, and he said that while he didn't have a spot for them, he encourages you to bring a voucher or flyers to the meeting so that you can gauge interest without having to disturb the pair. That way, you can even have people bid on them (if you decide to put them up in the auction) or just send out feelers to the people there who don't use MFK or another site, and you don't have to worry about catching pissed off fishies :)

LMK if you have any questions!

Thanks Betsy. They are going to a new home tomorrow.

Does anybody have a contact for live crayfish in multiple lots. I'm looking for small crays, pond snails, ghost shrimp, etc as feeders for a Fahaka puffer.
