PVC pipes
PVC elbows and "T" fittings
You can put more "T" fittings and pipes as desired but here is the concept.
As well as using just powere heads, or an air tube down the Vetical PVC pipe and sponges to get a sponge filter type filtration ( this is nice if there is a power outage and you have a back-up batery powered air pump).

With all the holes in the bottom pieces there will be virtually no incoming pressure at the ends with the sponges. Less holes in the long runs would work better BUT any small debris falling into the bottom PVC tubes will be sucked directly into the impeller of the powerhead. Other than that it's a good example of a laminar flow setup.

I hope to meet other New England fish keepers someday (only one so far is AJ)![]()
