that's not very nice.

We should encourage him to check out the cichlid areas and see if some topics interest or or maybe he can start some.

Maybe he can start by posting in the cichlid area and letting all of us know about his experiences on some of his current cichlids. Who knows maybe he has some questions about them too.

You seem to hang around and check what your post leads to. ;) That's good. You're curious. So are we! You can do some cichlid talk in our forum, and not only will you gain knowledge from a diverse group of fishkeepers, you will also have 5 posts in no time. Remember, it's posts, not threads. If you're into cichlids, why wouldn't you diversify and get input from some other people?! What cichlids do you have? Yeah, there are many cichlid keepers on here. I keep a few cichlids, nothing fancy or monsterious but I like them all the same. I keep convicts, firemouths, oscars and N. brichardi. This site has pretty much something for everyone whether you keep monsters or not. Take myself for example, my favorite fish are NA natives...they got a forum for that right here.
