There are no verticals bars it's very agressive it's the bigger one of the two that I have by an inch or an inch and a half.they are from the same batch. And it has blue speckling on the cheeks and it has blue hues to its fins he or she is camera shy so the colors don't show up as well. And do you still think its a female after hearing all of this ? It also looks way different from the other that is from the same batch I am no expert but I have been told both that it's a male and that it's a female but like mike told me I'm going to wait and see until it's about 7 inches or so because right now it's only 3 or so

To add to my other post I walk in from school today to see that that the bigger dovii has lots of pale blueish turquoise dots on his gill plates like I said he or she is getting more color by the day... Can't really snap a good pic though he/she hates the phone up to the glass

Looks like a female to me. I once had a female dovii who outgrow others in its tank. Dominate male will have no problem turning blue and usually not round.

Only reason I think otherwise is because mine has no vertical bars like yours does and mine has a more silver/ grayish base color and it's a lot bigger than the other from the same batch and it hardly lets the other eat which points to male If they do end out to be females I am getting rid of them
