New F1 Rotkeil Severum - Han Solo

Initially when I introduced Han, Chewie bit off a couple chunks of his tail in the first two days. But Han, ever unafraid, kept following Chewie around. Now they are pretty much inseparable and swim everywhere together. I am hopefully optimistic that this relationship will last. His tail repaired itself in about a day so nothing too bad. They both came from shoals of their siblings so perhaps they are finding some common ground. Whatever the reason hope it continues. I had a successful tank (125 gal) of an Oscar with a Severum that was similar dynamic. Started off a bit hostility from the larger fish before buddying up.

The wild parents are now owned by Mr. Brian Scott, former TFH editor, South American Cichlid expert, and current NJ F&W officer. He will continue to breed them and supply me with the juveniles when they are available.

Han Solo update. This is a little more than two months growth. Doing pretty well. His reds have yet to come out but soon I imagine. Still gets along great with his tank mates.
