It's done with females alot by sellers because of pairing problems.. They'll list it at wrong size or not list size at all sometimes.


Nice pair but I would try and breed them in the big tank. I don't see a difference why they would pair better in a 30g then they would a 75g.

In my experience, bigger tanks mean faster pairing, not the other way around. Maybe they have a trick i am unaware of. She is a great looking fish either way.
