new fish AND TANK

Dude, you all think C-B is bad, you should see my brother in law; I'm about to lay on the him because HE REALLY NEVER LISTENS; helped him set up a 20g because he went off and bought some GT's without asking for any advise, then got bored and frustrated because of their aggression well no sh**t, so he got rid of everything, and three days ago, set up a 10g, and the old 20g with a baby jardini, and a flowerhorn.

Flower horn is alive and in the 10g jardini already gone . Didn't even bother to fully cycle the tank either, so I'm changing out water everyother day sometimes using my own tank water to see if the flowerhorn will at least stand a chance. That's why I got patience with C_B. He's trying and at least does listen to advise to a degree. I just want to kick my stupid a** brother in law before I strangle him.

tell him to GET A BIGGER TANK or to take back al the flowerhorns and jar and get the right cichlids like dwarfs and shelldwellers...

and when i got home im deffently doing a 75% water change

Hey C_B,

Man, told him already before; get fish that matches size of tank. right now, i'm going to see if he will help me go half on a stand for my 50g, so i can set up my 40g, and let him
have my 30g; only consolation is that all the fish are not big; but then big deal since they are all going to be big monsters anyway if he don't end up killing them first.

I hope my pain will be your gain; Don't over stock, and def. get right tank for your fish

or with those two tanks you could go this route...you could get rid of all the fish, properly set up the ten for a baby ball python, then move it to the 29 when it grows and that should keep it for life, or at least for quite a while... I could help you (online of course) if you liked, thats what I did with my extra ten.

That guy would never keep reptiles; he likes fish or like to torture and kill them.

I showed him the results of the water from both tanks; nitrites are scary; I never had
nitrites levels with my tanks. He just shrugged and said it was all right?!!

Maybe I could trick him into signing up here, and you guys
could flame him to death for me
