Nice! Well that's one way to ensure you always get a fair shake at the lfs.
Please keep us all posted on how your feedings go. I will do the same.

yepp, the best thing about working at a lfs, getting things at cost.:headbang2

Don't tempt me. Besides, I don't think it would work out. I would demand the TV for Vikings games.
Umm yeah...we have to watch the Colts. And of course Bret has to watch the Bucs (:screwy: ), so I don't think it would work out...but the fish would be happy at least.

Bad news. The Chaca died. Apparently I should have drip acclimated, the pH of the tank at the store was around 5....:( I'll see if we have another, and I'll acclimate properly this time.

I'm really sorry to hear about that man. It's always rough losing a fish, especially when they're hard to come by. What was your home tank PH at?

On another note my Chaca has just claimed the life of a smaller cichlid. I actually went to bed worrying about it's health because it seemed like it hasn't eaten in a while only to wake up the next morning to see it bulging at the belly and one of my cichlids was missing. Pretty upsetting as I am trying everything I can to get it off live food and EATING IT'S TANKMATES!!! :nilly:
So that's 2 ID sharks and 1 Cichlid thus far. I guess I'm going to have to try keeping a few larger Goldfish in the tank. Ones that will be too big for the ATFs to eat (at thier size right now at least) and a perfect meal for the Chaca.

Let us know if you get another. Good luck Ewurm.

I'll find out if there is one available tomorrow. Thanks. BTW, the pH of my tank is 6.5
