New fish from Rapps & Conkel

Definitely looks like a parasitic infection by the way the fish are carrying themselves (clamped) and other obvious stuff.

I'd really jack the salt up and run a UV for a couple of weeks. A giant water change to start would be nice (eliminates a lot of the free floating stages of the parasites). Then I'd change 50% every other day (adding back salt to cover the new 50% of water). Keep salting, etc. at least a full week after they look clean.

hmm...Do they looked "clamped" in the pictures? Im not sure what that means exactly, mainly because Ive never had any kind of problems with my fish, but they are all swimming like normal and chasing each other, eating normally and not showing any signs of fatigue or shyness. If by "clamped" you mean their fins are back and not erect, this is the first time Ive taken pics of them using a flash and they were bugged out by it for the most part.

Its a 125 and so far, in 2 days, Ive put enough salt for 80 gallons. I didnt think it would be safe to put enough scoops to cover the 125 gallons. Is it? Ill do a 50% tomorrow when I get home.

I have no UV light and probably cant get my hands on one until Saturday. Any other alternative?

Also, should I turn the heater up?

What other "obvious stuff" can you tell from the pictures that would lead you to think that? Id love to know so I can watch for it in the future if it happens again.

Thanks for the info!

Heres a few group shots if it helps:
