those should be culled. not killed, but culled as in taken out of the breeding stock. but instead they are hoped to come out like that so they can sell them for 10x the amount. thats why i'll never own a batman ray...EVER.

Interesting if you're into that sort of thing. IMO it's a deformity that should be weeded out instead of spread around through more breeding.
