im goin to be gettin a Red Texas an i wanna know all the info on them please :) like wat should i feed him etc...

Oh...ok. Just keep your water clean, feed them some good source of pellets. My best brand of pellets I like to use is NLS(New Life Spectrum). They are a very hardy fish, you can give them a treat of krill once in a while. But keep pellets as their staple. Tank mates may be okay, but I have experience with Red Tex can be on the more aggressive side than the regular Tex.

i think its goin to be a 3-4 inch texas. an hikari is all i get around here. so just keep him in his own tank?

he will be in a 37 gallon for now until he gets bigger then into a 55 gallon at least.

a noob? for one you only have 42 posts compared to me havin 411 posts an 2 you dont know how long i have been into the aquariums. so before you talk revise what you say.

what type of hikari would you say? i have the cichlid gold an staple but would i need to buy the excel? for a balanced diet?
