NEW FISH INCOMING!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Red texas is a very hardy fish and very teritorial too, so keep him alone and dont worry because this kind easy to keep and breed

pretty easy fish IMO, cuz I have them...easy only once you understand them as well. If you are getting the fish imported....they are kept in 80+degree water. Keep the water clean, unless you ever get into breeding it, then it is a whole other ballgame. Also, keep water well oxygenated.

Diet would be a good staple pellet, Freeze dried krill, frozen bloodworms, well, anything cuz they eat it!!! I would at least start 40 breeder and that will do for a very long time cuz they are slow growers. Eventually you will need to upgrade. Tankmates....hhhmmmm.....a 3 to 4 in fish....not a good idea unless they are dithers. Now if you were raising them from young age on, you could put them together with other RT, I have seen it done.

Just my 2 cents!!
