JACKOSCAR said:"what"!!!!!!!!! Maybe i misunderstood but it sounds like to me that you are getting rid of all the fish you have in the 180 now and doing a cichlid tank that will never ever-ever-ever-ever work especially in that small of a tank. Now if you are buying a new tank for this set-up then i sincerely apologize but if no then thats just pure bad fishkeeping to make a commitment to your current tank and then just get rid of all of them. Just my opinion.....
Thanks Wesredtailfool said:Go Dan! thats gonna be quite a challenge but im pretty sure you can pull it off.
And thanks Benfica540 ... my second voice...LOLBenfica540 said:since dan is a mod and can't say anything controversial, I'll go ahead and say that you sir, are a big fat weiner.![]()
I do not see the need for you to get personal so please stop. Read his original post, he does not plan on keeping the Cichlids, the idea is to grow them out and whoever does not get along gets sold. When you sell something you get rid of it! That is the whole plan.JACKOSCAR said:well dan you are just a perfect example of bad fish keeping. People here are always talking about ignorant people buying fish that get huge for there small tanks which in your case (AROWANA, RTC, TSN etc.).... But i guarantee you what you have in your plan will not work and i think you know that but hey next year you'll just get rid of them too like the others.....
guppy said:By planning ahead and having a market for your fish you can get to keep fish that you know would get to large for you to otherwise keep. I have known people who do this with lima cats, giant gouramis, and aros. I have done it myself with balas and redhooks.
